The Cape May Police Department and city of Cape May invite the public to share “Coffee with a Cop” on Monday, April 7.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at City Hall, 643 Washington Street.
Residents are urged to stop by for coffee and conversation with Cape May police officers to receive some public safety-related tips and information.
“Our hope is to help provide additional opportunities for the public to interact with our officers, ask questions and learn about resources available to our community,” the police department said in a Facebook post to promote the event.
Throughout the year, the police department plans to host a monthly event at the coffee shops and eateries across Cape May.
Coffee will be free at the April 7 event at City Hall. Refreshments are being donated by the Wawa store on Texas Avenue.
