“Hell’s Kitchen” Season 23 winner Kyle Timpson will share some of his culinary secrets with students at the Cape May County Technical School during a special appearance on Monday, April 28.
Timpson, a 2013 Cape Tech graduate, will talk to students about his culinary experiences and lead them in a Hell’s Kitchen-themed mock cook-off. Students will gather ingredients, prepare menus and cook meals under Timpson’s direction.
Timpson is scheduled to appear at Cape Tech on Monday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Many of his impressive cooking skills were developed when he was a shared-time student of Cape Tech and Middle Township High School, according to a news release.
Now 30, Timpson was the winner in Season 23 of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen: Head Chefs Only. With the win, he was appointed as head chef at Hell’s Kitchen at Foxwoods in Connecticut.
“I was always interested in cooking and baking and would bring cookies and cupcakes to school,” recalled Timpson, who grew up in Dennis Township. “Cupcakes always make people happy, and I loved being able to do that through food.”
