Shore Medical Center is working on a new outpatient testing room – scheduled to open in the spring – that will make it easier for people with autism and sensory needs to receive bloodwork and other essential testing in a calming environment.
It’s all thanks to the generosity of Mike and Jeannie Monichetti, organizers of the annual Mike’s Seafood Run-Walk for Autism on February 15 in Sea Isle City. Shore Medical Center is supporting the Run-Walk for Autism and is urging members of the public to participate in the event.
Through the donation by the Monichettis, Shore was able to purchase everything the Somers Point hospital needs to equip the outpatient testing room, including:
