Social media reports of a heavy U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement presence in Wildwood are not true, police said Thursday.
The police presence is for the induction of executive board members to the New Jersey Sheriff's Association, police said in a Facebook post.
"We would like to congratulate Cape May County Sheriff Robert Nolan on being sworn in as president of the association," police wrote.
