Atlantic City road rage fight garners views, but no investigation

A driver strikes the window of a vehicle in the culmination of a road rage incident captured on video.

A video showing a road rage incident ending in physical confrontations and a busted window has garnered a lot of online attention, but no criminal charges.

Atlantic City police are aware of the video recorded by a passenger in another car who started filming as two SUV drivers headed down the Black Horse Pike, with one trying to pass the other.

"Why my brother js send me this randomly ac just Gotham city fr," Keevon Selby's Facebook post of the video reads.

The silver SUV is behind the black one, which appears to try to pass. The silver vehicle continues to block the black one, at points right between lanes, and going to the right shoulder.

The two almost move in unison, including cutting off a third uninvolved SUV.

"Yo, we in this in real life," one of the people inside the recording car can be heard saying.

Things come to a head at the right turn onto West End Avenue, when the silver SUV starts to make the turn, but then pulls back around to where the black SUV is pulled off the road.

"Yo, he's hoppin' out," a man in the recording car repeatedly yells, as the driver of the silver SUV can be seen running out of his vehicle with something in his hand.

"Yo, f--- him up!" another recording car occupant yells several times.

The man uses what is in his hand to strike the driver's side window, breaking it on the third hit, then continuing as the black SUV tries to drive away.

The man then returns to his silver vehicle. But things do not end there.

That's when the driver of the black vehicle gets out.

"F--- him up!" both men in the recording vehicle yell, as the man heads to the silver SUV.

As the driver tries to open the door, the black SUV driver pushes it closed and hits the driver before heading back to his vehicle.

The silver SUV driver then runs toward the black vehicle again with something in his hand and strikes the black SUV as the driver takes off.

A woman walking on the sidewalk apparently had been in that vehicle, as one of those recording yells how he "left his b----."

The Atlantic City Police Department has not launched an investigation.

"We are aware of the video. Neither involved party has contacted the police department," said Capt. Kevin Fair, the department's public information officer. "If either party wishes to file a criminal complaint with the police department, it will be investigated."
