DeSean Jackson and Michael Vick's playing days are numbered, but their coaching careers are just getting started. Vick is the head coach at Norfolk State, while Jackson holds the same position at Delaware State.

The two programs will meet Oct. 30 at Lincoln Financial Field, in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference showdown, according to CBS's Jonathan Jones. The game was originally scheduled for Nov. 1 in Dover, Del., but was changed.

"Coach Jackson and I made so many unforgettable memories together at Lincoln Financial Field," Vick said in a joint statement released by the two schools. "This stadium holds a special meaning in my NFL career. I am thrilled to be a part of this historic moment and want to thank the Philadelphia Eagles, Norfolk State and Delaware State for their collaboration to make this happen."

Both Vick and Jackson are entering their first years with their respective programs. Vick was hired on Dec. 18, while Jackson was brought in just over a week later on Dec. 27. Vick retired in 2015, two seasons after the Eagles let him go in free agency. Jackson was playing up until 2022, but his best football was long gone.

Jackson and Vick were on the Eagles for five years together, with Vick starting 41 games from 2010-13. Jackson was Vick's most prolific target, recording 4,049 receiving yards during that stretch. Jackson was unceremoniously cut by Chip Kelly after a career year in 2013. That was also Vick's last season with the Eagles.

Now the duo is embarking on their coaching career. They're trying to add some juice to the HBCU football scene. Playing at Lincoln Financial Field will certainly help with that.
