The unofficial start of the 2025 summer season – Memorial Day weekend – is just a couple of weeks away. What are area business and tourism experts predicting for the Jersey Shore? What are some of the emerging trends for the gaming, hospitality and tourism industries in the region?
A panel of experts will offer their thoughts, take questions from the public and look back at 2024 at the 17th annual Jersey Shorecast at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 21 in the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room at the Stockton University Atlantic City campus, 3711 Atlantic Ave.
The event will also be livestreamed by the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism (LIGHT) at the Stockton University School of Business, the sponsor of the event.

Jane Bokunewicz, LIGHT’s faculty director, will provide some opening remarks and some gaming and tourism statistics from last year.
There will be a Q&A session after the panel and questions may also be submitted in advance to [email protected] with “Shorecast Question” in the subject line.
