Summer in the Wildwoods is underway with a packed schedule of special events throughout June.
Highlighted by the Barefoot Country Music Fest, the 102nd National Marbles Tournament and an array of dining, sports and entertainment attractions, the Wildwoods are getting ready for what is expected to be another record-breaking summer.

May 1-June 1 – Anglesea Open Pickleball Tournament
Get ready for the 3rd Annual Anglesea Open Pickleball Tournament May 31 & June 1 at Allen Park, 2200 Delaware Ave., North Wildwood. Sponsored by the Anglesea Irish Society, the tournament offers mixed, men’s, and women’s doubles competitions for skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.0+, catering to participants aged 19 and above, as well as a 50+ category. The event follows a round-robin format with playoffs, ensuring each team plays a minimum of four games. Proceeds from the tournament support the charitable initiatives of the Anglesea Irish Society. May 31- June 1 – Hoop Island – Balling By the Beach
HOOP ISLAND, USA, presented by Balling By The Beach, is the Jersey Shore’s largest premier basketball tournament – a high-profile event that’s truly unforgettable. This is where top teams from across the Northeast gather at one of the hottest summer destinations, on May 31 and June 1. June 1 – Morey’s Beach Jam
Scouts from around the country camp on the Wildwood beach between Schellenger Avenue and Spencer Avenue. Bring your troop and have a blast during a jam-packed weekend full of camping, activities, amusement rides, and water slides. June 6-8 – Beach Football League
The Beach Football League (BFL) is set to make waves this summer with the Wildwood Classic Open Tryouts, scheduled for June 7, at the Schellenger Avenue beach in Wildwood. This event is part of the BFL’s Summer Tour, offering athletes from all backgrounds – whether former college players, retired NFL professionals, or passionate amateurs – the chance to showcase their talents on the sand. Open to individuals 18 years or older who graduated high school in 2024 or earlier, are not under contract with any other professional football league, and not current members of collegiate football teams for the 2025 season. The Wildwood Classic promises not just competitive play but also a vibrant community atmosphere, set against the scenic backdrop of Wildwood’s expansive beaches with special guests like Desean Jackson. June 7-8 – PigDog Beach Volleyball Classic
The PigDog Beach Volleyball Classic will take place June 7-8. Featured courts will be on the beach between Oak and Maple Avenues. Teams of 2 and 4 will compete in various divisions, starting at 9 a.m. and ending around 6 p.m. Top-level players compete for prize money and all lower divisions play for merchandise prizes. June 8 – Morey’s Beach Bop
Morey’s Piers invites the youngest scouts and their families to enjoy a fun-filled day of adventure at Beach Bop on June 8. This exciting event is designed especially for Cub Scouts—including Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos – as well as Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts. The event features a variety of activities and experiences that are perfect for young adventurers. Additionally, children will have the chance to meet Morey’s Piers mascots, Sunny C. June 13 – Eagles Autism Foundation at Morey’s Piers

The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce presents Wildwoods Restaurant Week from June 15-19. June 16-19 – National Marbles Tournament
Celebrating 102 years of competition in 2025. Byrne Plaza will host the Sunday evening opening ceremony at 6 p.m. with games starting on Monday from 8 a.m. to noon daily at Ringer Stadium, at Wildwood Avenue and the beach, in Wildwood. The official national competition in the sport of marbles for boys and girls ages 8 to 14 that have qualified by winning local tournaments throughout the United States. June 19-22 – Barefoot Country Music Festival
Brought to you by the producers of Carolina Country Music Fest, the Barefoot Country Music Fest is poised to be the Northeast’s largest outdoor country music festival. This four-day event will host country music’s biggest stars and up-and-comers on five unique stages on the beach at Lincoln Avenue in Wildwood between Morey’s Mariner and Adventure Piers. Main stage acts feature Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Rascal Flatts and Jordan Davis. June 17-August 21 – Doo Wop Museum & Neon Night Tours
The Wildwoods are home to the largest collection of mid-century resort architecture in the country. Held every Tuesday and Thursday night in the summer, the tour leaves from the front of the Doo Wop Experience Museum, 4500 Ocean Avenue, in Wildwood at 8 p.m. See retro 1950s and ’60s motels and neon signs as well as new examples of Doo Wop architecture narrated by a tour guide while being transported around the Island on a trolley. June 26 – Mid-Atlantic Yacht Racing Youth Regatta
Taking place at Sunset Lake in Wildwood Crest, over 100 youth sailors ages 9 to 18 from numerous clubs will compete in the Mid-Atlantic Yacht Racing Association’s South Jersey Summer Series regatta hosted by the Greater Wildwood Yacht Club on June 26. Sailors will depart from The Greater Wildwood Yacht Club in Wildwood Crest, 6501 Park Blvd., with races being visible from a variety of locations along Sunset Lake. June 28-29 – Beach Blast Sand Soccer Tournament
Cape Express Soccer Club presents youth and adult soccer teams from all over the East Coast competing in a barefoot soccer tournament. Games are played on the Wildwoods beaches, between Spencer and Poplar Avenues. Hundreds of teams will compete on the sand in the largest sand soccer tournament in the world. June 30-July 5 – Starstruck Dance Challenge
The Starstruck Dance Challenge is an annual national dance competition held at the Wildwoods Convention Center from June 30 through July 5. The event features a variety of spectacular performances, including solos, duets, trios, small groups, large groups, lines, and productions, showcasing dancers from amateur to experienced levels. The competition aims to create a professional, educational, and positive atmosphere, providing participants with opportunities to learn and grow in their art and as individuals.
