Cape May, Wildwood and the surrounding shore communities are still expecting a strong nor’easter to bring exceptionally high wind, heavy rain and significant coastal flooding through at least three high tide cycles on Sunday and Monday.
The overall forecast remains largely unchanged, aside from rainfall totals continuing to trend lower, according to the Cape May County Office of Emergency Management.
There remains high confidence in significant impacts from major coastal flooding and substantial beach erosion for coastal areas of New Jersey and Delaware.
