The Kiwanis Club of Cape May and the city of Cape May will remember the nearly 3,000 victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Flight 93.
The Patriot Day commemoration ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Sept. 11 at Cove Beach in Cape May.
The solemn ceremony will feature speakers from local organizations, along with community leaders, to honor the police officers, firefighters and emergency medical technicians who bravely responded in 2001 to save lives.
A moment of silence will be observed when the flag is lowered during the ceremony.
Seating is limited, so participants are encouraged to bring a chair.
