Huge crowds are expected along the beachfront in Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and North Wildwood to watch the first ever “Thunder Over the Waves” airshow featuring an array of military aircraft and some of the best aerobatic pilots in the country.
The airshow will be held on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., but Friday will serve as a practice day from noon to 3 p.m. The show is free for the public to attend. For the official schedule, what to know before you go and more, visit https://wildwoodsnj.com/wildwoods-air-show/
Organizers estimate that 200,000 spectators will pack the beaches to watch the show. Performers will range from military skydivers to formation teams to solo propeller-driven performances and jet aerobatics.
