Brace yourselves for an earth-shaking weekend as the Monsters on the Beach Monster Truck Races event revs up its engines and returns to the Wildwoods.
Presented by Renegade Monster Truck Tour, this adrenaline-pumping spectacle promises a thrilling experience for monster truck enthusiasts and families alike on Friday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Sept. 27.
The Monster-ous weekend begins on Friday with the Monsters on Main Street Event. Each of the eight Renegade Monster Trucks will be on display in Wildwood Crest from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. before they all fire up and parade through Wildwood Crest to the performance area on the beach. Spectator gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday consists of two shows. The afternoon performance begins at 12:30 p.m. and the evening show begins at 7 p.m. Both will take place on the beach at Schellenger Avenue in Wildwood.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance starting at $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger. Gates open 2½ hours before each performance. The fun begins with the Renegade Monster Truck Tour Track Party, where fans can see the trucks up close, meet the drivers and take pictures.
Attendees have the option to upgrade their experience and take the ride of a lifetime on a 12-foot-tall Renegade Monster Truck. Tickets are required for each rider, regardless of age.
During the performances, each of the eight Renegade Monster Trucks will battle for points and compete for bragging rights and title of “King of the Beach” by tackling an aggressive track of obstacles, including crush cars, huge jumps and a backflip ramp.
The Monster Truck lineup for the event, subject to change, currently includes War Wizard, Jurassic Attack, Stinger Unleashed, Hurricane Force, Frost Bite, Hay Maker and more.
