Beachfront fireworks, a variety of live music and family entertainment will highlight the Wildwood Crest Seafarers Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Seafarers Celebration, free to the public, begins with a massive street festival along the banks of Sunset Lake, located along New Jersey Avenue between Rambler Road and Miami Avenue.
The event will feature craft vendors, live music, delicious varieties of food and other free and fun entertainment for the entire family.
The live music lineup includes performances by the Roundhouse Band (dance and party hits), Animal House (dance and party hits), Loose Ends (rock and pop hits) and the Star Band (Motown, oldies and pop).
Magic shows, a live turtle exhibition, interactive games for children, bounce houses, roving street performers, children’s pie-eating contests, face painting and more also highlight the Seafarers daytime activities lineup.
The daytime celebration at Sunset Lake concludes at 5 p.m. The action then moves at 7 p.m. to Centennial Park, located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
The Roundhouse Band, a versatile band with a full horn section that covers Motown, pop, rock and dance, will perform on the Centennial Park stage at 7 p.m.
The annual Seafarers beachfront fireworks show will go off from the beach at Fern Road at 8:30 p.m. to conclude the day’s activities. The fireworks show is best viewed from Centennial Park.

12:30 p.m. – Loose Ends (rock/pop hits)
