This weekend, the 20th annual Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge makes its way to the Wildwood beach, while the Wild-Con Jersey Shore Comic Book Show will take over the Wildwoods Convention Center.

20th annual Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge
The Polar Bear Plunge in Wildwood is an opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Special Olympics New Jersey athletes by jumping into the frigid ocean waters.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the plunge takes place at 1 p.m. on the Wildwood beach by the Wildwoods Convention Center. For more information or to register, visit www.plungewildwood.org

Wild-Con Jersey Shore Comic Book Show
It’s going to be wild at the Wild-Con show returning to the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday, January 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Featured guests include Genoveva Rossi, Glenn Taranto, and Travis Artz. Artists joining the show are Joe DelBeato, Jeff Brennan, Keith Williams, Criss Madd, Tom Schloendorn, Denny Fincke and Mal Grabowy.
Vendors will have comic books, trading cards, toys, crafts and more. Admission is $10,. Children ages 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
