The Cape May County Board of County Commissioners on Monday published the first edition of a new bi-monthly online newsletter designed to keep residents informed about important initiatives, community events, and the wide range of services provided by the county.
The newsletter serves as a convenient source of information for residents, businesses, and visitors. Each issue will highlight major projects and developments taking place across Cape May County while also providing updates on county services and programs, according to a news release.
The publication features updates on infrastructure and road improvement projects, public safety initiatives, activities at the County Park and Zoo, upcoming community events, and other important information that impacts residents throughout the county.
County officials say the newsletter is part of an ongoing effort to improve communication and transparency with the public while showcasing the many positive developments taking place throughout Cape May County.
“This newsletter gives residents a simple and reliable way to stay informed about everything happening across Cape May County,” Leonard Desiderio, director of the Board of Commissioners, said in the release. “From road improvements and public safety updates to events at the County Park and Zoo, we want to make sure the public knows about the many programs, services, and projects that help make Cape May County such a great place to live, work, and visit.”
The newsletter is distributed online and is accessible through the county website and social media platforms. Residents also have the opportunity to subscribe to receive future editions directly by email.
