Breeze Airways bringing four new routes to ACY

  • Travel

Breeze Airways announced four new routes from Atlantic City International Airport beginning with nonstop daily flights to Orlando starting July 3.

The announcement came late Saturday, hours after Spirit announced it was ending all service.

Many Spirit passengers had to scramble to rebook flights or lose trips. Others watched as thousands of rewards points that had racked up from flights disappeared.

Breeze first announced it was coming to ACY in January, with its first flights starting this week, with nonstop service to Charleston, S.C.

They also had set June 11 to start service to Raleigh/Durham, N.C., followed by new flights to Tampa, Fla, beginning July 1.

Now, the number of destinations offered by Breeze will more than double by the end of the year.

In addition to Orlando flights starting daily July 3, with one-way prices starting at $89, the other announced flights are:

    Myrtle Beach, S.C. (nonstop on Thursdays and Sundays starting October 22, from $49 one way);

    Fort Myers, Fla. (nonstop on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays starting October 22, from $89 one way); and

    West Palm Beach, Fla. (nonstop on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays starting December 17, from $89 one way).

The South Jersey Transportation Authority, which owns and operates the airport, welcomed the news.

“We appreciate Breeze Airways for its investment in Atlantic City International Airport and its introduction of new routes that maintain service to key destinations serving our region,” SJTA Executive Director Stephen F. Dougherty said.  “The timely launch of this service reflects the strength of the market and helps ensure passengers continue to have access to convenient, affordable destinations.”

Breeze says its goal is making air travel more accessible to millions of travelers coast to coast. They have a brand-new fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft and have announced offerings that include free family seating, fast onboard Wi-Fi, preferred seat options, and no change or cancel fees,

“We look forward to welcoming our first Guests from ACY onboard our flights to Charleston this week as we celebrate this exciting expansion to even more destinations,” David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO, said in a statement. “We appreciate our Guests and partners in the community for their warm welcome and can’t wait to bring our convenient, elevated service to America’s Playground.”

The airline was recognized by TIME Magazine this week, naming Breeze to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies list for 2026. In 2025, Breeze was recognized as one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies and named Best Major Airline in North America by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). It has also been recognized by Travel + Leisure as a top 4 Best Domestic Airline every year since it began flying.
