The protesters spread out over a mile along the Route 52 Causeway.

The mayor is vowing that police will use "every available resource" to solve the crime.

Details are still being worked out, but Mayor Jay Gillian is expected to announce the program in about a month.

They have agreed to provide manpower and resources to ensure that police services in West Wildwood continue without interruption.
